Copy settings between your stores

If you run the same brand on several stores, copy your Charm configuration from one to the other instead of rebuilding it: points program, tiers, branding, text, emails, and referrals, each opt-in.

Steps

1. On the source store, go to Settings → Data migration → Copy between your stores and click Generate code. Copy the one-time code (format CHRM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX). It expires after 15 minutes, and nothing changes on this store.
2. On the destination store, open the same section, paste the code into Transfer code, and click Preview.
3. Review Choose what to import. Each section shows what it contains, for example how many earning rules and rewards the points program brings. Untick anything you want to keep as-is on this store.
4. Click Import selected.
5. If the success banner says some settings need a quick re-pick, open those settings and re-select the products, discounts, or images they point to. References to the other store’s resources can’t carry over.

Undo

Before the import, Charm snapshots the destination store’s previous settings. A banner on the page offers Undo import for 30 days. It reverts only the sections you imported and leaves everything else untouched.

Note

Transfers copy configuration only. Customer data (balances, history, tier status) is never part of a transfer, and the destination store’s launch state, plan, sender email address, and integrations stay its own. Importing Emails brings over only the email texts that were edited on the other store; every other line keeps Charm’s default wording in this store’s tone of voice. Memberships and bonus campaigns are not included. Codes are single-use, and generating a new code invalidates the previous one.

Program switches stay put

Importing never switches the points program, the referral program or VIP tiers on or off on this store. Importing Points program from a store where referrals are live brings over the referral rule’s settings, but the referral program stays off here until you switch it on (and stays on if it was already running here). Importing VIP tiers works the same way: the tier ladder comes over, and tiers stay off here unless they were already on. Undo import leaves the switches alone too, so a program you launched or paused after the import stays the way you left it. If this store had no VIP tiers before the import, undo removes the imported tiers.
