Set a custom referral code prefix

Every customer’s referral link and code is built from a shared prefix plus a unique suffix — for example CHARM-82K6D0. A custom prefix puts your brand in front of every share and makes codes easy to recognize at checkout.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Points Program → Referrals.
  2. Turn on Set up a custom referral code prefix.
  3. Enter your prefix in Referral code prefix — up to 12 characters. The Preview below shows the resulting share link, e.g. https://your-store.myshopify.com?ref=CHARM-82K6D0.
  4. Click Save to apply the change.
