Make VIP tiers qualify by spend instead of points

Decide what counts toward a VIP tier — points earned, money spent, orders placed, and more — so your tiers reward the behaviour you care about.

Steps

1. Go to Program → VIP tiers and expand Configure tier levels.
2. At the top of the tier list, set Tiers qualify by to Amount spent (or Points earned, Orders placed, Successful referrals, or Customer tag). This bulk-switches the main requirement on every tier.
3. Adjust each tier’s Minimum if needed, then click Save.

Tip

Tiers qualify by sets the first criterion of every tier at once. If you fine-tune individual tiers so they no longer share one basis, the selector reads Custom (per tier) — that’s expected. To keep one basis but layer on extra requirements, add another criterion such as orders placed or a customer tag instead.
