Supported languages
Charm ships fully translated in 32 languages. Every language covers both sides of the app:
- Customer surfaces — the widget, loyalty hub, landing page, cart, checkout, POS, and lifecycle emails follow each shopper’s language from their Shopify Markets locale, per recipient.
- Merchant admin — the whole Charm admin is available in every language below; pick yours under Settings → App language.
You never have to write a translation — but every customer-facing string is editable per language under Visibility → Customer copy if you want to phrase it your way.

Good to know
- Formal vs. informal address — languages that grammatically distinguish the two (German Sie/du, French vous/tu, Czech vykání/tykání, and others) have a tone-of-voice switch. Languages without that distinction read naturally either way.
- Thai dates stay on your calendar. Thai’s default locale renders years in the Buddhist Era (2570 instead of 2027). Charm deliberately keeps dates Gregorian so they always match the rest of your Shopify admin and your order data.
- Your own text stays yours. Points names, tier names, and any copy you override are shown exactly as you wrote them — Charm never machine-translates merchant-entered text.
