Rename a tier or change its icon

Customize how a VIP tier looks to customers by renaming it or swapping its icon.

Steps

1. Go to Program → VIP tiers and expand Configure tier levels.
2. Select the tier and edit the Tier name. To rename the internal Handle, open the tier actions menu and choose Edit handle.
3. Set the Icon style — built-in icon sets, Custom icons (an HTTPS image URL per tier), or No icons — then Save.

Caution

The Handle is an internal automation handle used by Shopify Flow, integrations, and customer tags — it is not shown to customers. Changing it can break existing workflows and tags that reference the old handle, so only rename it if you know what depends on it.
