Revert an incorrect import

Undo a migration that went in wrong — from a snapshot it takes before writing, Charm restores balances to how they were before the import and removes any customers it created, so you can fix your file and re-import cleanly.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Data migration → Recent imports.
2. Find the import job and click Revert on its row. If the job finished Completed with errors, click View errors first to see which rows failed.
3. Confirm in the Revert this import? dialog by clicking Revert import.

Tip

An import that’s still Queued hasn’t touched any customer yet — Revert simply cancels it before it runs, so nothing needs undoing.

Caution

Any activity on those customers since the import — points earned, redeemed, or adjusted — will be lost when you revert. Revert relies on that pre-import snapshot, which doesn’t last forever: older imports show “This import is too old to revert automatically” once the undo window has passed, so undo soon after spotting a problem.
