Connect WebwinkelKeur
WebwinkelKeur collects reviews of your shop rather than of single products. Once it’s connected, every new shop review earns the customer whatever your Post a product review rule pays, the same way a review from any other review app does.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”Have two things from your WebwinkelKeur account ready:
- your webshop ID, the numeric ID shown in your WebwinkelKeur dashboard under Settings > API
- your API code
- In your Shopify admin, open Charm and go to Settings → Integrations → Review apps.
- Pick WebwinkelKeur in the Review provider dropdown.
- Enter your WebwinkelKeur webshop ID and WebwinkelKeur API code.
- Click Connect WebwinkelKeur.
- Make sure the Post a product review rule is on under Program → Earning points. It decides what a review earns.
Charm subscribes to WebwinkelKeur’s new-review webhook for you, so there’s nothing to set up on the WebwinkelKeur side. When the connection works, the badge changes to Connected and the card shows the last four characters of the API code in use.
Which reviews earn
Section titled “Which reviews earn”- New reviews only. Editing or deleting a review in WebwinkelKeur doesn’t change anyone’s points.
- Published reviews only. A review that’s in WebwinkelKeur’s quarantine when it arrives earns nothing.
- Your own customers only. The reviewer’s email address has to match a customer in your Shopify store.
- Once per review. A review sent to Charm more than once still earns one reward.
The limits on the Post a product review rule apply to shop reviews too. Cap rewarded reviews per customer counts them together with any product reviews, and Only reward verified purchases uses the verified mark WebwinkelKeur sends with each review. Shop reviews never carry a photo or video, so they don’t earn the photo or video bonus, but they do count toward Review milestones. See Connect a review app for how these controls work.
Disconnect and reconnect
Section titled “Disconnect and reconnect”Click Disconnect on the WebwinkelKeur card and new shop reviews stop earning points straight away. WebwinkelKeur offers no way to delete a webhook subscription, so Charm’s subscription stays in your WebwinkelKeur account and keeps sending reviews, which Charm acknowledges without awarding anything. Charm keeps your API code only while WebwinkelKeur is connected.
When you connect WebwinkelKeur again, Charm looks for the subscription it created earlier and reuses it instead of adding a second one.
