Connect a marketing platform
Connect a marketing or SMS platform so Charm’s loyalty data powers your email and SMS. Charm writes each customer’s loyalty state onto their marketing profile or contact and streams every loyalty event, so you can build loyalty segments and trigger automations — and optionally send loyalty emails from your platform instead of Charm.
- From your Shopify admin, open Charm and go to Settings → Integrations → Marketing and SMS apps.
- In the Marketing provider dropdown, pick your platform.
- Authorize or enter the platform’s credentials, then click Connect. The badge flips to Connected and Charm starts syncing.
Supported platforms
Section titled “Supported platforms”- Klaviyo — connects over OAuth. Two-way sync of loyalty events (as metrics) and profile properties, and you can optionally hand loyalty-email delivery to Klaviyo flows.
- Ecomail — connects with an API key + list ID. Sync-and-segment mode: Charm keeps each contact’s loyalty fields current and streams events; Charm keeps sending the emails.
- Omnisend — connects with an API key. Sync-and-segment mode like Ecomail: loyalty fields as
charm_contact properties plus custom events; Charm keeps sending the emails. - Mailchimp — connects with an API key plus an audience. Sync-and-segment mode: loyalty fields as merge fields on the audience’s members plus member events for Customer Journeys; Charm keeps sending the emails.
