Ignore orders by tag

Orders carrying any of the listed Shopify order tags are ignored by the loyalty program: they trigger no earning rules and award no points. Typical uses: staff or test orders, imported orders, and wholesale flows.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Go to Settings → Eligibility → Ignored orders.
  2. Type one or more order tags (for example test, internal, wholesale) and add them.
  3. Click Save.

Notes

Section titled “Notes”
  • Tags are matched case-insensitively against the order’s Shopify tags.
  • The check runs when the order is processed — before any payment or fulfillment gates — so an ignored order never sits in a “waiting for payment” state either.
  • To exclude specific customers rather than orders, use customer tags; to keep specific products from earning, use product exclusions.
