See loyalty details on Shopify orders and customers

Charm puts a Charm Loyalty block on the order and customer pages of your Shopify admin, so your team can answer “where are my points?” right where they already work.

  1. Open any order in your Shopify admin.
  2. In the app blocks card, search for Charm, add Charm Admin Order and pin it to the page.
  3. Open any customer and add and pin Charm Admin the same way.

A pinned block appears on every order or customer page, so you set each one up only once.

The block shows what the order earned and why:

  • Points awarded (or Points pending with the date they become available), and the store credit earned, if any.
  • Eligible spend: the amount that earned points and what it’s based on, for example Subtotal after discounts, incl. shipping, plus how many line items your product rules excluded.
  • Calculation: base points at your earning rate, the VIP tier multiplier, and any bonus campaign on top.
  • Refunds & cancellations: points taken back, and the net result for the order.

When an order didn’t earn points, the block tells you why in a plain sentence, for example that the order was placed before the program went live (with the launch date), that the customer is excluded, or that the order is still waiting for payment or fulfillment. When the order might still qualify, Award points now tries again on the spot. Awarding never gives points twice for the same order.

The block shows the member status, VIP tier, point balance, and points earned and redeemed. From there:

  • Adjust points balance adds or removes points. The internal note is for your team only. Tick Send the “Points Earned” email to let the customer know about a credit.
  • Redeem reward issues one of your rewards for the customer and shows the discount code, ready to copy. If you issued it by mistake, reverse it before closing the window and the points go back.
  • View details opens the customer’s loyalty profile in Charm.

Both actions are also in the More actions menu on the customer page.

The blocks follow each staff member’s own Shopify admin language, in any of Charm’s 32 languages, including every message about why an order didn’t earn and every error. Dates follow the same language; point numbers follow your store’s currency format. To change the language of the Charm app itself, see Change the Charm admin interface language.
